SB: Post Season Awards Announced

The Cyclones Softball team ended their 2023 campaign at the NJCAA Region 13 tournament. The Cyclones finished 3rd in a tournament that featured 3 top 10 teams. The Cyclones finished the 2023 season 32-11.

Emma Imdieke (So. St. Cloud, MN) and Kami Dougherty (So. Sartell, MN) earned All American honors.

Imdieke was named an NJCAA First Team All-American for her great season. Imdieke led the Cyclones in multiple offensive categories. She hit .422 with 20 doubles, 13 home runs, and 48 rbi's.

Dougherty was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All American as a utility/pitcher. Kami was crucial for the Cyclones in the circle and in the batter's box. Dougherty went 15-4 as a pitcher and had 90 strikeouts. At the plate, Dougherty hit .495 and homered 10 times.

 

Imdieke and Dougherty were also the SCTCC players who earned All Region recognition.

 

Six Cyclones were named to the All- Southern Division squad.

Emma Imdieke, Kami Dougherty, Kjerstin Hansen, and Justice Boyer earned first team recognition while Rainna Stangle and Kenzie Olene were named to the second team.

 

Imdieke, Dougherty, Hansen, and Boyer were also named to the All- MCAC team.
