Week 3 = National Ranking and 2 Conference Wins
Wednesday the Cyclones traveled to Anoka Ramsey Community College and earned a 3-0 victory. Stat leaders include Kalie Jergens, sophomore outside hitter from Becker, who earned 13 kills. Kalli Mathiasen, sophomore setter from St Cloud Apollo, earned 29 set assists and 3 service aces. Leading the defense was Chelsea Schroeder, sophomore libero from Rocori, with 11 digs. Anastasia Larson, first year middle from Big Lake, added 2 blocks.
Friday the Cyclones faced the Blue Jays in Worthington, MN. The Cyclones earned a 3-1 win with Jergens leading in kills with 14 and Mathiasen had 35 set assists. Schroeder led the defense with 17 digs and Larson had 5 blocks.
The Cyclones with their 9th seed in the National Rankings, are 8-2 overall, 3-1 in the MCAC South. The Cyclones face the Warriors of Ridgewater at home on September 13th at 6:30pm.
