Cyclones Split Week 7

Wednesday the Cyclones traveled to M-State Fergus Falls but fell 1-3.  The Cyclone stat leaders include Kalli Mathiasen, sophomore setter from St Cloud Apollo, with 38 set assists and Chelsea Schroeder, sophomore libero from Rocori, accumulating 33 digs.  Kalie Jergens, sophomore outside hitter from Becker, and Kyra Harvey, sophomore outside hitter from Sauk Rapids, both earned 14 kills. 

Friday Western Tech was defeated 3-0 for the Cyclones' Dig Pink match recognizing Anastasia Larson's grandmother, a breast cancer survivor of 19 years! Harvey led the attack with 13 kills and 4 blocks while Mathiasen collected 29 set assists and 4 service aces.  Jergens and Rachel Boros, first year defensive specialist from Little Falls, both received 10 digs.

The Cyclones are now 16-4 overall, 9-1 in the MCAC South and remain ranked #4 nationally.  The Cyclones travel to Dakota County for a non-conference match up, then hit the road for the weekend in Austin and Rochester.
