Cyclones Volleyball to host tournament as #1 seed

The SCTCC Cyclones Volleyball team will be hosting the NJCAA Region XIIIA tournament this weekend for the first time.

The team is the top seed, sharing the MCAC Conference title with Ridgewater. This year's Cyclones have broken several program records, including wins, highest national ranking, and highest finish in conference.

The tournament begins on Friday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. with the Cyclones taking on Minnesota West or M State Fergus Falls. The winner will play next at noon on Nov. 4 for the championship.

The winner of this tournament will move on to the national tournament, which will be held Nov. 10-11 in Rochester.

Tickets for the tournament are $6 day for adults and $3 a day for student and senior citizens.

The Cyclones are currently ranked sixth in the NJCAA national poll. They finished their regular season on Oct. 27, with an overall record of 21-6 and 11-3 in conference.
