4 Cyclones earn Conference Honors

In a record breaking season, 4 members of the Cyclones Volleyball team were named to MCAC All- Southern Division.  

Sophomore Kalli Mathiasen was named MCAC Southern Division player of the year earning All- Division first team. Kalli also earned All State First Team honors.The Cyclone Setter led the conference with 9.63 assists per set.  Mathiasen also was 7th in Service Aces.

Sophomore Kalie Jergens joined Mathiasen on the All Southern Division first team. Jergens finished 2nd in the MCAC in Kills, 4th in kills per set,4th in hitting percentage, 4th in service aces, and 3rd in points.  The Sophomore 'Outside Hitter also was named the All State First team.

Sophomore Chelsea Schroeder also earned First Team All Division honors.  The Cyclones Libero finished 2nd in digs and digs per set.

Freshman Anastasia Larson earned Second Team All Division Honors.  Larson finished 2nd in Block Assists, 5th in Total Blocks, and 6th in Hitting Percentage.

 

The postseason honors wasn't limited to the Cyclones Student Athletes.  Heidi Smith was named Co-Coach of the Year honors for the MCAC South.  Smith also was named Region XIIIA Coach of the Year.
