Cyclones over Cavaliers

The Cyclones traveled to La Crosse, WI to face the Cavaliers of Western Technical and Community College on Friday and were victorious in 3 set; 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

Running the Cyclones' offense were first year setters Jenna Scott, from Holdingford earning 18 sets assists and Paige Serbus, from Redwood Valley, earning 14 set assists.  Grace Mauersberger, first year outside hitter from St Michael Albertville, led with 14 kills, followed by Rilee Hohbein, first year middle from Holdingford, with 9 kills.  Libero, Tori Nelson, first year from New London-Spicer defended the court with 24 digs. Hohbein also earned 5 blocks and Serbus earned 3 service aces.

The Cyclones are now 10-10 on the season, 5-5 in conference play.  In the last week of regular season competition, the Cyclones head to Fergus Falls Wed, Oct 24th and host the last regular season match at home on Saturday, October 27th at noon at the Whitney Center.
