Cyclones place 2nd in NJCAA Region Tournament

After a big win on Friday, the Cyclones Volleyball team's season came to an end on Saturday, Nov. 2, when they took second place in the NJCAA DIII Region XIIIA tournament.

The Cyclones traveled to Rochester to play in the Region tournament, taking on Minnesota State on Friday. The Cyclones had lost both regular-season matches against Minnesota State closely with a 2-3 loss each match, but they grabbed the tournament win, with a 3-1 victory. The Cyclones were set to play in the championship match on Saturday against Rochester.

On Saturday, the Cyclones took on Rochester in the championship game, fighting hard on each set to gain a spot in the National Tournament, but they came up short to take second place in the Region. The final set scores were 18-25, 17-25, and 19-25.

Cyclones Rilee Hohbein and Kamryn D'Heilly received All-Tournament Team honors.

The Cyclones Volleyball team ended the season 20-10 overall and 9-5 in conference. Congratulations, Cyclones, on a great season!
