Kroger to Lead Cyclone Baseball as next Head Coach

St. Cloud Technical & Community College Athletics is excited to announce that David Kroger Jr. has accepted the position as Head Baseball Coach. Kroger spent the previous two seasons as an Assistant Coach with the Cyclones Pitching Staff. In addition to coaching with the Cyclones, Kroger is the Pitching Coordinator for the Minnesota MASH Baseball Club.

"David's passion and desire really came to light throughout this process. Since starting with the program two years ago, he has really shown the dedication to learning his craft, and I am excited for him to get to work and to get to work with our student athletes this fall," said Nate Hiestand, Athletics Director.

Kroger is a Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Rapsodo Certified.

"I want to thank my family, fiancé, friends, Minnesota MASH and St. Cloud Technical & Community College for supporting me through all of this. I also want to thank Jason Fischer who gave me the opportunity to get into college coaching. Without that opportunity I may not be in the spot I am today. I have some big shoes to fill and am more than excited to get to work," said Kroger. "We have a good amount of returners coming back that will help lead this year's team. This group is hungry and excited to get back to work. I'm extremely blessed and happy to accept this opportunity to lead this group of young men. Go Cyclones."
