SCTCC Wins North Plains District, National Tournament next
The SCTCC Baseball team won the Region 13/North Plains District Tournament defeating Rochester 14-11 in the championship game. The Cyclones will travel to Greeneville, TN for the NJCAA Division III College World Series. The Cyclones have qualified 4 previous times including 2021. This is the first time in program history that the Cyclones have qualified in back to back years.
The Cyclones have been seeded 8th and will take on Top seeded Caldwell Tech (NC). The Cobras come in with a record of 47-6 and have won 24 games in a row. The Cyclones and Cobras are scheduled to play the 3rd game on Saturday with an Estimated Start Time of 4:30pm.
The Tournament will be played at Pioneer Park at Tusculum University.
