Cyclones Split two 5-set matches

It was an intense week for the Cyclones as they hosted the Spartans from M-State Fergus Falls and fell short in 5 sets; 21-25, 25- 22, 25-16, 26-28, 6-15.

Kills: Emily Kemp (sophomore, middle from Eveleth)-14, Paige Rupp (sophomore, outside hitter from BBE) 10

On Friday, September 8th the Cyclones traveled to La Crosse, WI to face the Cavaliers of Western Tech in another 5 set battle but came out on top; 22-25, 25-16, 18-25, 25-15, 15-12.

The Cyclones have a 5-4 overall record and are 2-2 in the MCAC South. The Cyclones travel next week to Anoka Ramsey, Rochester and Austin for 3 conference matches.  The Cyclones next home match is Wed, Sept 27, 6:30pm at the St Cloud Whitney Center.
